I'm pretty sure there's a Death Cab song called "Line of Best Fit." I think it's on You Can Play These Songs With Chords. The Long Winters' "Medicine Cabinet Pirate" features the final line, "your new math is treason." But yes, this is probably too little, too late and too Barsuk-y.
